Ms. Baldwin was as usual on Miss Fayray’s lap, wearing her sunglasses, sitting very still as to make everyone believe her to be a velvet stuffed toy.  Miss Fayray always wore her straw hat with the huge brim, and Ms. Baldwin wore sunglasses.  Without moving even one piece of her velvet fur, she looked over the crowd.  Then she spotted him, the man, the weather man.
