Once lunch was eaten Lindy Howell would begin to spin the goat’s hair into yarn.  This yarn was rolled into big balls and in the evening while watching her favorite game show, Luc of the Dial, on the TV, the Lindy would knit sweaters for Ted.  A bald dog needed more than a plaid shirt and a wonderful fleece jacket to keep him warm in the North Country when the snow came.  On really cold, cold, cold days when even the warmest sweater made from goats hair spun and hand knitted by Lindy just couldn’t keep big bald Ted warm even when he layered it with his favorite plaid shirt and wonderful fleece jacket Ted had to stay indoors all day long.
